It’s August which means I have to face the fact that Francesco will be heading off to full days of Grade 1 in September. Everyone says how fast the years fly by, but you start to really understand this once your kids start school. My personal goal for this summer was to connect with Francesco, spend quality time, and have meaningful conversations everyday. It’s been at the forefront of my days because I know this chapter of having him home all the time will end in a matter of weeks.
Then I have my twin 2 year olds that make me wish I could speed up time some days.

We recently got a cat and I am trying to buy bio-degradable kitty litter but I am still putting it in plastic garbage cans and out to the curb. I don’t really want it in my composter…I don’t know if you know of any good solutions…buy a biodegradable garbage bag I guess?

Sawyer noticed today that on the bottom of the Tropicana Orange juice plastic bottle (that we buy our orange juice in) it has the number 7!! He was quick to point it out…I guess we will be switching brands.

I am using eco friendly laundry detergent and my dryer balls…do you know about dryer balls yet? However, I cannot give up my oxyclean for stains yet because it works so well…do you know of a better choice..I know it is full of toxins…says poison right on it. Do you know that to get berry stains out naturally you can use boiling hot water from a kettle and pour on the stain from high up…if stain is fresh..immediately takes it out (works well for fresh red wine stains too),
