However, ours HAS lost suction. I've done everything I can think of - cleaned the filter obsessively, kept the rollers clean - but it still doesn't work like it used to. That said, every time I vacuum our home (~1,100 sq', around once a week) I get about a canister & a half of dust & fluff. (I used to get two.) Maybe our dust has decreased over time, but I doubt it. I’ve had a Dyson since 2005 & have been very happy with it. However, ours HAS lost suction.
