		<description>Great point Steve!  You are correct...many BPA free items are still marked resin code 7.  I guess as a parent, the code 7 and no code at all on products used by our children has been our only guide with what to throw away and what to keep.  My disappointment with Avent has been more how they&#039;ve addressed the BPA issue - they were slow to issue any information to the public that would assist with the confusion over BPA in bottles and other Avent products.  Thanks for the post!</description>

		<description>It sounds like many people misunderstand what the recycling code 7 indicates. It does not indicate the specific type of resin (plastic) that is used in the item (unlike the other codes 1,2,3 etc). The code 7 is a &quot;catch all&quot; category for any type of resin that isn&#039;t covered by codes 1 through 6. This means many BPA free resins could still have the recycling code 7 on them.
